Pacific Gas & Electric wanted to relocate a pipeline trenched into a steep hillside near Cordelia, California in order to reduce the risk of a pipeline failure in the event of a landslide. ARB directionally drilled 2,275 feet of 20-inch pipeline into deeper stable soils formations within the hillside.
