The Underground Groups quality of pipeline and related infrastructure construction is the foundation for the companies' 50 plus year history. The Underground Group constructs pipelines and the related infrastructure across a number of disciplines covering petrochemical and natural gas transmission and distribution pipelines, water and sewer pipelines, fiber optic cable and conduit installation, and horizontal directional drilling.


ARB's highly trained and skilled workforce includes expertise in pipeline, water and sewer, rehabilitation, communication and horizontal direction drilling operations. The pipeline division installs, maintains and replaces pipelines and related facilities for the transportation of hydrocarbon based raw materials and products as well as other types of liquids and gaseous products.


ARB has one of the largest pipeline equipment fleets in the US with spreads from 6 inch to 48 inch. ARB's water and sewer division installs all pipeline systems including, steel, plastic, clay and ductile iron pipe systems. Our rehabilitation operation includes tight-fit lining, pipebursting, and cement mortar lining. The communications division has capabilities in both direct buy plowed-in cable and fiber, and buried conduit with pulled-in wire or fiber optic applications. Our horizontal directional drilling operation has the ability to support any of ARB's other disciplines as well as the capability to direct contract for all types of underground related HDD applications.


The Underground Group also offers a full complement of pre-construction and construction management services including route evaluation, permitting assistance, estimating, scheduling, construction, operations, and maintenance.
